Feature Requests

Currently, it's impossible to control what image will be shown on Facebook when sharing the virtual festival catalogue page. Most of the time there's no image at all or something random. This is a big deal because not having this makes it much harder to share the festival catalogue professionally. We are having to embed it to be able to share it reasonably. I think this one should be top priority - so many festivals are using the Eventive platform to screen digital content and not being able to customize how it's shared is a problem. Maybe you can just incorporate an SEO plug-in?

We'd like the option to have Chat for any type of event that we want to present. VOD, Livestream, VOD+Livestream, etc.

HELP PLEASE... we have a high profile Short Film that needs a geo-block and it is playing as part of a block of other shorts...

We would love to be able to have live streams before and after an event. A live introduction and chat and a post-screening Q&A.

Useful for collecting information about any merchandise that would be sent to patrons, licensing, etc.

It would be nice to add content via external link as a pre or post roll for virtual screenings.

Allow geoblocking to be defined on a per film basis.

I noticed we have this feature for physical events which is great! But having it for virtual would be greatly appreciated too. Particularly in regards to age restrictions. I also noticed someone else suggest "Age Restriction for Virtual Festival" and that does apply here too. Some screenings/workshops/etc is not suitable for younger audiences/participants. Also, the legality of it all. For example, we have a virtual workshop for Figure Drawing for animation. Normally, figure drawing involves nude models. So having a waiver at checkout would help quality control and ensure our attendees are of age (or at least are fully aware they agreed to being of age) right at checkout.

It would be great to be able to include a download option for a PDF file containing the script, notes from the Q&A guest, or a festival guide. This would be helpful for sharing notes with the audience.
