Feature Requests

I would like the ability to set a date and time for which a purchaser can purchase a pass. I would also like to set a time when the pass is no longer available for purchase. For example I would like to be able to sell an Early Bird pass from 12:01am on Dec 1 until 11:59pm on Dec 22. I would then like to be able to sell Full Festival passes starting at 12:01am on Dec 23 until Jan 15. We plan to only sell passes and then have the system generate the appropriate tickets when the pass is scanned. We have a 3 night in person festival. We will scan the pass once each night and then the nightly ticket will be generated. We don't plan to sell any tickets.

Pay-what-you-can pass would be a wonderful feature

The option to have waiting lists for sold-out pass buckets and events, so people can queue and get a notification as soon as the capacity changed or as soon as someone is canceling a ticket.

When you have more than one pass in your account that can apply to a screening, it would be great if the cheapest option is always first in the dropdown. Right now that's not guaranteed. E.g. it shows their membership discount first, then it shows their $0 option with their festival package. There have been instances where users don't notice they're using the wrong pass or even choose the standalone ticket option when they meant to order with a pass.

For pass and ticket management

There is the recurring payment option, but the language tells customers they can cancel at any time. We are looking for basically giving the ability to break payments up into monthly payments to make it easier. We can't really allow cancellations.

Passholders love the favourite stars of festival planning, but currently the order all starred option is limited to standalone ticket orders only.

It would really help functionality if Box Office could override pass rules. For example, all of our passes have a rule that you can only book events onto them 48 hours before their start times, but we often need to add tickets to passes before the festival starts (e.g. filmmakers should have tickets to all screenings of their films already on their passes when they arrive to the festival). Right now, we need to turn off that 48 hour rule (for everyone, so the pass becomes unusable) and book hundreds of tickets in a short window of time. Box Office being able to override this, (as it appears able to do so—the order remains a Passholder Reservation and you are able to click "Place Order" but tickets are not added to the pass and instead are issued as standalone tickets, which is very confusing for filmmakers who don't read emails), it would be a huge help! I know there would be concerns around overriding rules that shouldn't be overridden, but it would be great to have it as a global setting (so you could turn it on and off for specific tasks) or else a setting for specific pass types.

We'd like to give an all access pass that includes all films as opposed to the customer having to add their films to their pass.

When a recurring pass is deactivated in the dashboard, the user can still access it and renew that recurring pass from their subscriptions page. Can the renewal option be disabled or removed for them if the pass is deactivated? Otherwise they'd be charged a renewal for a pass they can't use.
