Hide Scanned Tickets from Scanenrs

It would be great to have the option to not show the number of scanned in tickets on the scanners screen. We do not share number with the public and volunteers having access to those numbers can cause problems.

I actually found those numbers on the scanner to be confusing. The number scanned vs the number allowed into the theater, increased as scans increased. It should be a good way (in my opinion) to see how many people are int he venue. But as scan numbers increase with reservations or rush line, the number of seats in the venue appears to go up too. Not helpful. Not sure I am helping your cause.

Hi Julie Chalhoub, the numbers on the scanner are:
number of tickets scanned / number of tickets issued (this isn't the total capacity in the venue)
When instant tickets and rush tickets are issued, both the number of tickets scanned and the number of tickets issued increase that is why you are seeing both sides of that ratio changing as you are scanning folks in.
The rush pay and rush pass features in the scanner app are capable of overselling the venue capacity, it is designed this way so that if some of your ticketholders don't show up, that you can continue to admit rush line patrons.

Kimberley from Eventive - thank you. But that doesn't make sense to me (i understand it logically). It seems especially in crunch time when you are loading a venue, that that number should reflect the capacity. whether it is rush scan, reservation scan or ticket scan so that you do not over fill the auditorium. The scanner can (or should be able to) quickly see how many people have been admitted. Without that number, we have to add a person to use a clicker counter. I will look back into it. See if my brain can better process it. But that is my gut. that we need to know how many have been admitted. If we are letting rush line in, then reservations and tickets run the risk of losing their seats.

Julie Chalhoub I agree, it would be great to have the capacity, otherwise staff had to remember what the capacity is of each theater, this is tough volunteers that change, and we have one venue that has five screens
