Thank you for updating the FilmFreeway connection to Eventive. Curious, does the template (or new template) work better now?

Julie Chalhoub: There have been no changes to the bulk import template for films. This integration works using an API key that is generated in FilmFreeway and added into Eventive... no template required.
There are a few fields on the film record that currently don't sync because there isn't a direct parallel in FilmFreeway.
It is still possible to bulk edit film records in Eventive after the FilmFreeway sync has run. For folks looking to do this, we recommend:
- Getting all of your film records imported from FilmFreeway
- Once all of your films are imported to eventive, click "download all (.csv)" beneath the list of films in eventive, use this info to populate the bulk import template.
- Complete any missing info in the bulk import template.
- Upload the bulk import template to edit all the film records at once to fill in any info that had not been available to sync from FilmFreeway.

Kimberley Busato Thank you. I'll revisit this soon when I have to do the import. One thing that FIlmFreeway is a little buggy or different...not all filmmakers fill out the form the same way. So when you review "Specifications" some people describe the film, some don't. Some add language and country, others don't. That makes it hard to do a bulk import without checking every film (last festival, 270 films - a lot to check). Also, I had noticed columns didn't align with Eventive and had to cut/paste in the template. My concern, one festival I work, they developed another system that renders use of Eventive unnecessary. I am hoping, since we finally have people used to using Eventive, that we can continue. That is my comfort level. Thanks for your help.

+1 for me! Please and Thank you! And if you were able to work with Film Freeway to trigger an action where upon Acceptance by the Festival an automated email would go out to the filmmaker prompting them to upload their screener file to their Eventive account

It's so great that Eventive can auto-populate with a film's IMDb info. But so many films don't create IMDb pages early enough. It'd be very helpful Eventive could also pull in a film's FilmFreeway info too.
