Instead of a pass rule to restrict by when the event starts and ends, allow access by date/time of access. For day passes, weekend passes, etc.

This has been completed some time ago. Under pass rule restrictions you can either restrict a pass rule based on the date / time of the event (for day passes, etc) or restrict the date / time at which a pass rule comes into effect (this is good for tiered on sales and special access windows).

Hi Tish, can you explain further? We've had orgs use those restrictions to create day and weekend passes to great effect. Would like to understand more of what you envision.

Charles Judson: Okay, so what is the best way to set up a day pass that allows access to events that start before that day and end after, and also events that happen within that day?
Last year we had to add all the allowed events for the day pass the night before, and remove them the morning after.
We can't restrict based on what time the events start and end because many of them start Sept 22 and end Oct 3, but the Day Pass is for Sept. 25, for example.

Tish Black: Gotcha. I better understand. Are you doing a mixture of Virtual Screenings and Physical Events this year? Day passes tend to work better for physical events and virtual screenings with a discrete window. Depending on scheduling, multiple rules may work well here. I'll send a message so we can followup outside of this thread.
