Allow organization admin to customize access to specific buckets.

Over the past year, new roles with specific permissions have been introduced, yet it appears that administrators still lack the capability to modify or personalize individual access levels. I'm inquiring whether administrators can tailor permissions based on access levels, or perhaps restrict visibility to certain categories. It has been suggested, particularly in your knowledge articles, to establish separate buckets for non-festival events like memberships. We are therefore exploring whether it's now feasible to adjust our permissions system to ensure that non-admin users cannot inadvertently or deliberately make changes to other buckets.

Hello Christina, the best way to control access and ensure that non-admin users can't access or edit something that they shouldn't is to ensure that they have been assigned a role that has permissions that correspond to the level of access they need. Many roles beyond Administrators and Box Office Manager either have limited editing permissions or view only permissions.
In order for us to be able to respond to support requests via our support chat it's important for us to be able to know very quickly what permissions someone has, which is why standardized roles were created... ie. we know what a box office cashier can see and interact with, so we wouldn't tell them to look for or try to interact with something that isn't visible or accessible to them... this is super important to support, so it is not likely that we'll be creating fully customizable roles in the near future.
If there is a role that you have in mind, please feel free to create a feature request for a new role (including all permissions that you envision) and we're glad to consider a feature request of that nature.
