Prepopulate passes with films
R
Robyn Statman
We'd like to give an all access pass that includes all films as opposed to the customer having to add their films to their pass.

Selection process when choosing films in Box Office

On the back end as I pre-load tickets onto our member passes, it would be helpful to be able to select_All or highlight the ones needed to be able to add rather than have to go through every single ticket.

Add all physical events to a pass either on creation or with the push of a button

We have a hand full of patrons that cannot manage to use the internet at all, I would like the ability to (on a pass by pass basis) just give these 4 or 5 passes the ability to attend any event available to them, and then vote from the app(With a little help)
Kimberley Busato
Hello Micah,
There are a few things that you can do to achieve this.
For the voting, you can use the balloting app at your venues and collect votes as folks leave the theatre. If you are using the mobile balloting app on tablets as your audience is leaving the theatre you wouldn't necessarily need to use online balloting for physical events -> https://help.eventive.org/en/articles/2575779-eventive-ballot-mobile-app
With regards to entry, you can scan their pass to issue instant tickets... this is the best option to handle their admission, though it wouldn't guarantee their entry to sold out shows or shows with very limited tickets unless you take other precautions... like having a separate ticket allocation for emergency seats that isn't available for public sale --> https://help.eventive.org/en/articles/912023-create-instant-tickets-for-passholders
Or if you are afraid that an event would sell out and these few select passholders might miss out, you might consider creating an event that you can use to issue a ticket to all events to select passholders. For example, we'll call this event "pre-populate pass with one ticket to all events". With this event, when creating the ticket bucket, you'd add all of your events as companion tickets. Then for select patrons who can't manage their own tickets, you'd do a passholder reservation for that customer via the box office, add the one ticket to your "pre-populate pass with one ticket to all events" to the cart and then process the order... this would put one ticket to everything on their pass.
I would caution that this is dangerous... if you have too many folks like this, and they only attend select events, you'd be issuing seats that may never be used and you could end up using up your ticket allocations and selling out prematurely. This approach is also not compatible with reserved seating as companion tickets don't allow you to select a seat.
If you have any questions or concerns about these suggestions, please feel free to reach out to Eventive support using the chat widget in your Eventive Dashboard.

Great suggestion! We have an older demographic that sometimes struggles to understand adding a film to their library so that they can reserve a seat and then vote for audience choice awards. Being able to add in-person events at the touch of a button on the backend on a pass by pass basis would be fantastic and much appreciated by our festival-goers.

Any Updates on this inquiry? This would be a great option for our patrons and support staff.

Automatic pre-order movies
A
Adrian O'Connor
It has been hard to get subscribers to pre-order their movies and then they cannot understand why they are not getting the reminder emails. We would like the purchase of a pass to automatically pre-order all the movies (obviously only works when the subscriber is entitled to ALL of the movies available)
A
Adrian O'Connor
Thanks Charles, I’ll look into that solution

Hi Charles, thanks for the response. I’ll look into that. If I understand you correctly they would only have to order pre-order once for all the movies. But it would still be a separate process from ordering the pass. Is that right?
C
Charles Judson
Adrian O'Connor: Yes, correct on both accounts. It would be one step for the pass, and a second step for ordering. That offers flexibility for some that want to load up, and others who want to order as they go.

Hi Adrian! Have you taken a look at using Companion Tickets? You can create a master screening that has all of the screenings attached. When purchased, they'll get all of the events, one email listing them all, and they'll receive a reminder email for each screening individually.
A
Adrian O'Connor
Charles Judson: btw, can we create that Companion screening when the event is in prog, or does it have to be before launch
C
Charles Judson
Adrian O'Connor: Yep! You can create that anytime. What some have done is to use it multiple ways. So not only the ability to add all the tickets, but also options to only choose ones that are part of certain theme/section, etc.

Charles Judson
Hi Ashley, there's actually a workaround for that. You can create a ticket bucket and use multiple companion tickets to build out the pre-load. Then in the Box Office, you only have to select that ticket bucket. You can create a hidden event for that, to make it easier to apply.

Charles Judson: I will need some guidance for this as we have both physical and virtual events and some virtual events are vod+live.
C
Charles Judson
Ashley Simmons: Yep! Can you email me at charles@eventive.org. Send me what should go into an example, and I can build that out as a guide.
