Ability to Create Sponsor Profile / Asset Library

Like many festivals, we have sponsors who sponsor a series (eg-Canadian Documentaries), a specific film (eg-Calgary Distress Center may sponsor a film about mental health awareness), or competitions (eg-Best Narrative Short).
With that in mind, we currently have a way to append sponsor logos (that also link to their sites when clicked on) in those different categories to different film pages in our own site that is relatively low effort (see photos).
Of course, we can drop sponsor logo's into the description of each film but there are significant issues with this-not very visually pleasing, far more work, doesn't link to external pages, and if that logo needs to be changed, it must be individually changed on each film page.
Essentially, our current system works similarly to how the 'Film' bucket works in Eventive. We can create a 'Sponsor', add their name, a link to their site, the different kinds of graphics, what kind of partner they are, etc, then just select their name in the drop down on the film page and have it auto populate, much like the the film details are populated into the Physical Event page when you select the appropriate film.
Something comparable to this would be amazing, as being able to demonstrate that kind of website placement is a core feature in our sponsorable properties portfolio.
This is a make or break feature for us, and I imagine at least very helpful for other festivals as well.

Display Ad Library or Replicate Ads

If adding the same display ad to each virtual screening it would be great to have access to reuse media previous uploaded or store display ads in a library for easy access across virtual events and buckets.

Hi Katherine, thank you for your feedback here! We certainly see the efficiency in the system your site uses. So we can further understand the request and your needs, we have a couple follow up questions.
Can you please elaborate on the "make-or-break" nature of this feature request? For example, have you gotten pushback from sponsors for how their images display on Eventive sites? Or is it the time and labor for adding images? Both?
And would you please elaborate on what about adding the images in the description section of a film or event makes it not visually pleasing? While we believe the current tools (adding, resizing, aligning, etc.) for images are robust enough for a variety of design needs, we'd love to know where you feel these fall short.
Also, you can hyperlink images! You have to highlight the image first (as opposed to clicking directly on it) and then use the hyperlink tool to enter the url.

Dylan Levy: Hey Dylan, please see my responses below-please let me know if you have any follow up questions!
By 'make or break' I am referring to both things you mentioned. The look is not ideal in terms of being able to ensure all logos are given the correct kind of logo-some are banners (as you see in the images above) and some are logos, and which they get is in accordance with their sponsorship level. To upload each image, ensure it's the correct version of that image, ensure the sizing is correct (in correlation to each other) and it doesn't impede customers ability to read details on the film (such as credits) is very difficult. I acknowledge having the logos aligned on one side or at the very bottom of the page may be a personal preference, but I've attached a comparison image below so you can see the difference.
In terms of labor that's the largest consideration. We have over 200 films, and the vast majority have sponsorship of some kind and many have multiple, and they change-we often have sponsors sign up after we begin announcing films and we're constantly updating them. The current Eventive system means hand placing/sizing/updating hundreds and hundreds of logos and ads, which would be very difficult for us, and sponsorship agreements for this year have already been signed. While this year, we're somewhat stuck because sponsorship agreements have already been signed, even if we did look at removing this option for next year, our Partnerships Manager has assured me this is one of the most popular and high value options within our Sponsorship menu, meaning it would be tough to cut out of agreements, even with adequate notice.
Glad to hear we can hyperlink, thank you for that info!

Katherine Penhale: Thank you so much for taking the time to explain! We really appreciate it. We definitely understand the time and labor involved in adding and sizing images, especially for that many screenings.
For virtual screenings, we have display ads that auto-size images to fit within a 600 pixel width, and you can easily change the order of images within the screening settings. Do you think expanding that feature to in-person events would primarily address the issue?

Dylan Levy: Hey Dylan! Happy to do it.
I do think if we had the same capacity to add logos as we do on virtual screenings it would take most of the legwork off.
Of course, having the option to also do the same kind of thing with banner images would be great, but I'd love to have even the majority of the logos be able to covered using the virtual type format, then we can manually add banners.
I don't believe the way it's set up currently allows you to select from pre-uploaded logo options correct? Because that would also be great (like an option to say 'select from previous uploads or upload a new image) but I'll take what I can get at this point.
All the best,
Katherine

Got it, thanks again! We'll look into both of those ideas.

This was added in the film section, but maybe not the event section. We have to add it in the description and add the logo. There should be a way to add the logo/photo in the film or event sponsor section. Some sponsors sponsor just a film, some sponsor a type or genre of film and some just sponsor an event like an encore showing of films.

Yes - this is very much needed. Sponsors are critical to our festival's bottom line, it's imperative to be able to easily include their logo, imbed external links and add any needed language in everything that's public-facing. Thanks for the suggestion, Katherine.
